Mexican Chocolate

                   Ingredients:


  • 170 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 75 g dark chocolate, date grated
  • 500 ml of whole milk
  • paprika (to taste)

                      Method:

     Boil water in a pot. Add vanilla, sugar, cinnamon, espresso powder and salt. Simmer for 1 minute and add dark chocolate. Stir until it thickens slightly. Then add milk and simmer for 1 minute. Serve immediately, sprinkled over with paprika powder. One can add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
